At the Bradenton Surgery Center, we perform many vital outpatient surgeries in a state-ofthe-art professional facility with caring highly skilled surgeons in attendance assisted by the best nursing staff and other medical professionals.

EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy/Upper Endoscopy)
An endoscopic examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract. A flexible tube with a light and camera is gently passed into the esophagus, stomach and the first portion of the small intestine.
EGD with dilation
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy with Dilation for swallowing difficulties.
Colonoscopy
An endoscopic examination of the colon. A flexible tube with a light and camera is gently passed into the rectum and on to the cecum, which is the very beginning of the colon.
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
An endoscopic examination of the most lower portions of the colon and the rectum.
